These are some of the children from the family across the road. I had just made a cake and then they came over to play and we found out it was Emelda's birthday so we had a little party for her! Not long after this picture she went with her Dad to Cuba to have eye surgery. Her eyes had gotten so bad that she couldn't attend school anymore as she couldn't see the work. She has returned now and what a difference. From a girl who rarely smiled and who could hardly see to a smiling, outgoing child who can see everything!! We're so happy for her!

Our baby pineapples are growing, we're hoping we'll be able to eat them before we go. They are quite a bit bigger than this now.
We have alot of fun with our school secretary Patricia and her boyfriend Jose. They are both really nice and we enjoy having them over.
